ABOUT US

History of the Organization

The organization was birthed from our Founder (Courtnie Coble McIntosh), who knows the importance of having a supported, passionate, empathic, consistent adult in a young adult life, while transitioning through high school. With her years of experience in the human service field and her personal life experiences, she was able to realized that systematically services were not set up for everyone to have access to and in many ways, continue to separate us as a community. She desired to create a group of youth leaders that could one day create a better inclusive informed community generationally.

The Academy of Goal Achievers is a youth leadership mentoring program, that came from the mentality:

“All youth and families deserve assess to a resource that’s created to develop youth leaders who learns the importance of giving back to their communities and receive guidance and direction on their  individualized post-secondary goals. “
